Ahhh I now have giant blue pills of allergy-free-ness. Now if only they weren’t $112… Oh well, at least I’ll be. Breathing normall again.

So, she talked to church lady. Church lady has the same things I bought her. Just has a special ruler too. Guess I’m not so incompetent.

Overheard my mother talking to someone on the phone: “Once and a while John takes pity on me and will take me to dinner.” Oy…

Chris won’t be joining me tonight as previously planned. Work called him in, and probably will tomorrow too. Oh well, I’ll still have fun.

Finally working on video of the Bounding Main Trip to Europe. I have two tapes loaded to the computer & have been selecting usable footage.

Had a great 5 hours at the zoo. Missed out on the pachyderms and Austrailia house but really enjoyed the day. Thanks to all that came!

Going to the pub to hang out with Gordon, and see if we might actually get to see some live music tonight.

Zoo trip got canceled again today. Going to try again Tomorrow. So now I’m transferring Bounding Main Europe Trip Video to the computer.

Well, the photos didn’t go over well…  But hey I bought her the rolling cutter for fabric she wanted, so thas a good thign right?

WRONG!

I bought the wrong thing apparently.  Tonight she informed me that she will not use the rolling cutter or mat I got her and that it was NOT what she wanted.

She wants some sort of all in one device that ____ at the church has. “She can cut out an entire quilt in a couple of minutes”.    Well, I talked to friends, I tlaked to the poepe at the craft stores they all told me what I got was the right thing.  The all in one device thing I saw is for PAPER only. “NO ITS NOT!  ___ USES ONE ALL THE TIME! ITS FOR FABRC”  “OK, SO I’M WRONG, I BOGUHT YOU THE WROGN THING BECASUE I LISTENED TO TH PEOPLE THAT DO THIS ALL THE TIME! WHY WOULD THEY HAVE ANY CLUE! I DONT DO CRAFTS! I DONT KNOW WHAT TO GET! YOU DIDN’T GIVE ME ANYTHING TO GO ON! NO NAME,  NO PART NUMBER NO NOTHING! I TALKED TO THE EXPERTS I KNEW” “OH GOOD GRIEF, NOW YOU ARE WHINING!” So I completely changed my tone of voice, and repeated, “Look, you didn’t give me anyhting to go on, other than a vauge description.  I did research on the web, i contacted quilters I knew, I talked to the experts in the craft stores.  They all toldme the same thing! The thing thats all in one that they had, is not for fabric, only for paper. “  “OH GEEEZ NOW YOUR JSUT PISSED OFF AT ME!!! I SHOULD HAVE NEVE SAID ANYHTING!”  “Ya know what, I’m done… You go talk to your lady at church that has this thing you want, you get me the EXACT model, and manufacture and I’ll buy you that!”  “OH YEAH IM SURE I JUST IMAGINED IT! IT DOESNT EXIST”  I ignored her and got back on the laptop.

Why did I bother getting anything at all,  I wait to find out how much she hates the Lion plaque I got her next…

Had a nice chat with @croncast tonight catching up on all sorts of things. I also managed to get a copy of skype working on AMD64 linux.

Hey wow, 5:30 pm and I finally get a Merry Christmas from my mother. The 35 Text messages from friends saying the same was nice thogh.

Time to eat. Food looks good: Ham, Turkey, Stuffing, Scalloped Taters, Beans, Scalloped Corn, Cranberry Applesauce, and Rolls

Well, so far the fight count stands at one.

Every so often since Halloween Palley has asked me to get physical pictures made from Halloween.   I kept telling her I would, and decided that I woudl put them in an album and give them to her as a Christmas Gift.  (I thought about doing some sort of scrap book thing, but I know nothing about scrap booking)  So I went ahead and selected all of what I thought were the best pictures from the night and made prints.   I then hunted through half a dozen stores to find what I thgouth was a nice albulm to put them in.   It was nothign fancy, but it was soemthign she had been asking me for.

When she opened it the response was,  “Ohhh! oh good now I can finally get copies made.”   “Uh, if you want extras, let me just re-print them, making copies from the prints is not going to be as good as the original files.” “Why do you need extra copies?”  “Well I told you I want to send them to Micheal.” “No you didn’t.”  “Of course I did, thats the whole reason I wanted them was because he wanted to see them.” “Ok, whatever… I’m pretty sure you never mentioned that though”  “Of course I did, you just have to many things goign on and never remember these things.”  “Whatever” “Oh good grief, don’t start!”

So, turns out she didn’t want the pictures for anything other than to give to Micheal.  Should have known…
