Lemonade…
So… About that pitcher of lemonade, and A/C, and all… Tomorrow would have been nice for that you know…

I can’t believe it’s been three months. I still miss Dave every day. I’m still slowly moving through it. I’ve definitly made some headway, I’m no longer moping at work all day. On some days it’s much more painful than others. Every so often something will happen and it’s still my 1st instinct to call, IM or email him.
Wow, I cannot beleive that opening weekend of Bristol has already passed by. What a whirlwind it was too. Saturday was the hardest of the two days I think. There were so many poepel there and so many different groups of people and friends to spend time with. I really think I did a crappy job of it with some of my friends. I spent some time with Dave’s folks showing them around, and making sure they had a good time whenever possible. A big thank you to Jezebel Harlotte for her services at the town square public house.
I also spent time with Daves neighbors as well off and on. I unfortunatly managed to miss Tony’s wife Carrie and her friend the entire afternoon, I saw Juli once after the gates opened but only for a few minutes as she was busy. I only saw Bill and Nancy a couple of times off in the distance. It seemed we were all always on opposite ends of the faire at all times.
Some of Saturday’s highlights:
After faire Carl, Julie, Karl, Gabbi, Jen, Suzanne and I went to dinner. We tried out a rather nice, yet iexpensive resturaunt and really enjoyed it. They had great service, and they seemed honestly happy to have us. “You guys are the 1st people we have ever had from the faire here.” I find that hard to believe.
Sunday’s Highlights:
Overall, despide the obvious spots of saddness, I had a pretty good weekend. The scaryest part is I’m not really all that sore today, and I still have a voice, go figure.

This tiem they confirm his name, and apparently the print paper had his picture…
Here I sit at the ER. Sonja fell at her house. Her glucose level was above what any meter could read.
The BDP has returned. I cleaned out the crap from the hacker, upgraded the code, and reactivated it. Sadly the script kiddies script used the API in phpBB to dump 3 of the forums fully so the messages are all lost. knowing the BDP though it will rebound rather quickly.
A few weeks back we had an incident with a guy stripped down to a jock strap in the womans restroom in the library…
We were assured by authorites that he wasn’t really dangerous and there’s nothing to worry about…
No I’m not saying the unnamed man in this article is the same man but this article below is really interesting…

Well today I did not celebrate the fourth. I hadn’t planned on doing so at all. I did however join Dave’s parents at his house (after lunch at Portillos.. Yum) to help them move the last of the heavy stuff that needed to be out of the house out to the garage. They are putting the house on the market on Friday. I finally feel like I was able to be of some help at the house. The past trips I felt like I was just compleetly overwhelmed, and lost. Today was different. I carried things down from upstairs and climed up in the rafters of the garage to get the remainder of things from up there as well.
I ended up bringing one more thing home too. One of his possesions he loved greatly, that his parents asked me to take. I’m honored, I truly am. I think it will reside in my room and will house my computer and associated equipment.
Well I’m back home again tonight… I’m really tired… I had a busy weekend this weekend. Bristol starts next weekend, and I have no idea how I’m going to juggle everything.
I’m tired.
Really tired.
Unlike ~70% of the rest of the U.S. workforce, I have to work tomorrow so I better get to bed.
Goodnight.
I jsut had to take my aunt to pick up prescriptions… Now I don’t mind running a few errands, really I don’t. Here is where thigns get insane thgouh… She has prescriptions at multiple pharmacys. The local ones took us 30 minutes or so to take care of, after the hour and ten it took to get her ready to go. The remainder of the prescriptions are at a pharmacy ove an hour away. Why are they at this pharmacy you may ask? I asked. I asked numerous times. It’s becasue she likes the pharmacist. “He’s nice to me.” Ok, so… when we got there the store isnt easily hanicapped accessable, its in a bad neighborhood, and she never even spoke to the pharmacist. Not to mention she forgot to call in a number of the prescriptions so someone wil ahve to take her back there in a day or so for MORE…
One of the resons I inisited I’d take her today was to pay close careful attention to her condition. There is ABSOLUTLY NO WAY she can be living on her own. There is also absolutly no way she can live here. When I got to her house she was sitting in her chair in her living room watching TV. Only after I got there did she even considder gettign ready. At that point she had to call in the prescriptions. She couldn’t find half of them. Her method of organizing her prescriptions… they are all tossed in a halloween bucket she keeps by her bed. Well all that will fit in it anyway. There’s empty bottles, there’s half empty bottles, there’s over the counter stuff, it’s a mess. While we were out I nearly had to carry her to the restroom becasue she was to unstable to walk. She needed prompting to be able to fill out the checks she was writing. “No, your name goes there…”
This is NOT looking good…
