Could someone please explain to me why it is morning again? I’m pretty sure it should still be ‘not morning’ as that is what my body is telling me. This is why I should NOT stay up until 1 a.m. Last night I really was planning on going to bed about 11:30. That was when I finished my mothers taxes. (An adventure in and of itself) It was shortly after that that my aunt, who was doing her taxes at our house, asked “So who is going to take me home?” It was then that the following things dawned on me:
- I would be that someone
- It will be at least another thirty minutes before she is ready to go
- It is at least a 40 minute round trip
- I really am sick to death of my aunt and mother bending over backwards to help enabling my cousin
- Work Monday will suck
Fishing competition is done, and it went very well. I think everyone enjoyed themselves. I know I did.

I have decided to host a fishing contest in Animal Crossing tonight. Get me your friend code / town name / character name and I’ll add you. The gates open at 7 p.m. Make sure you have enough room in your inventory for four fish. Rather than a simple contest of “who can catch the most fish in __ minutes.” I thought it would be more fun to see who can catch a set list of fish first. I will post the fish list on the bulletin board in my town and the winner gets fabulous prizes! Fish will be handed over to me before prizes will be awarded, so no cheating!
Ever open an envelope to find a check for $200 in it? Me neither, until today that is. Someone was very happy with one of my creations and decided to show it monitarily. How cool…

Normally I don’t post jokes on here, but I read this one and thought… cameracarl definetly should hear/read this one. 
Which then got me thinking, well if he would get a kick out of it, others might too… so the joke follows below:
A friend always seemed to lean slightly to the left. It bothered me, so I suggested that he see a doctor and have his legs checked out. For years, he refused, telling me I was crazy, but last week, he finally went.
Sure enough, the doctor discovered his left leg was a half -inch shorter than his right. A bit of orthopedic surgery later, both legs are exactly the same length now, and he no longer leans.
“So,” I said, “you didn’t believe me when I told you a doctor could fix your leg.”
He just looked at me and said, “I stand corrected.”
Ok, today is the perfect example of the day I would LOVE to see the college administrators try to get across campus in a wheelchair. The very same administrators who see no reason for there to be handicap parking near the library at all. Yes, the ones who say things like, “Well how many of those people are there anyway?”
Hell, I could barely make it across campus in this wind, and rain how are the students in electric weelchairs going to even attmpt it w/o having thier electronics fried…. On a calm day they cover in plastic but with the wind as srong as it is today, good luck… But you know, what am I thinking water and electricity, they get along fine together.
Why is it morning has to come so soon after I go to bed? Granted, I did stay out until almost 2 a.m. last night. It’s my brothers fault. He is up in the area to clean out his mothers place so she can sell it. So we met up to catch up over a couple beers. Unfortunatly a couple beers turned into three, and before I knew it it was closing time, 1 a.m. It was just about 2 a.m. when I got home and crawled into bed for a restless nights sleep. It didn’t really help the restlessness when the power kept going out from the heavy winds. Oh well, should be an interesting day.
